This is a forwarded message from Maita M. This isn’t intended to put the kids under scrutiny or humiliation, or make someone charge me wd libel for exposing the pics…
these children don’t need your pity. Wala yung magagawa-- unless you decide to do a charity or offer them something. Magjoin kau ng cradle for example or any children’s advocate group.
The message, however, is to help you (and me) put things into perspective. I hope it’ll do. Salamat.

anyway nakita ko na yan dati. naiinis ako pag nakakakuha ako ng ganitong mga pa-feel-good/righteous powerpoint presentation emails. somehow i don't really approve of this photographic strategy to make us middle-class people feel good about our class standing. hehe. it's really just designed to make us pity the poor and be "thankful" that we're better off. Besides, the notion of being "blessed" here merely mystifies the social forces which places us in our current un/comfortable positions. Diba? After reading this you'd just realize that there are really miserable people but won't really get an idea why this is so--and what we have to do about it.
yup parang brackets lang. i don't think copy-paste works here, you have to upload the images one by one. it's viewable on the internet anyway, hehehe :) sinearch ko para madalian ka sa buhay. hahahaha!

i intend these for brats... sa mga walang pakundangan sa pagdedemand ng materyal na bagay habang ang iba ay... (actually sana lang it could somehow move them) at mahilig magreklamo. kaso oo nga. ang implication nito ay submission to complacency katulad nga ng iyong pananaw... disclaimer: hindi ako nghuhugas kamay at nagmamalinis.
